Transformer Rentals – Medium Voltage

Medium Voltage Auto Transformer Rentals
  • Equipment specification range may include:
  • kVA range: 300kVA to 100MVA
  • Primary voltages: 2400V to 35kV 3Ø
  • Secondary voltages: 120/208V 3Ø , 277/480V 3Ø and 347/600V 3Ø
  • Hardwire and/or camlok cable connections

Our most commonly rented Medium Voltage Transformers range from 300kVA all the way up to the 5mVA and come in a multitude of primary and secondary voltages (large kVA units are available). The majority of the med. voltage transformers in our fleet are of the substation type, but we also have access to pad mount.

They can be used to step up voltage from a generator to 480V or 600V up to 4160V, the voltage needed to operate some mining or heavy industrial equipment. Another common application of this equipment is load testing 4160V generators that need to be proven before shipped to the end user. In this case, our transformers step down the voltage from 4160V to either 600V or 480V and connect to a load bank.

If you do not find the med. voltage transformation unit you’re looking for here or in our catalogue, please contact us. One of our Power Specialists will work with you to find the right power solution for your needs.
